Get the Trend

We did some research to bring you the top trends that you are going to want in your closet for this fall and winter season! First we took a look at Elle magazine’s piece on Fall 2017’s Top Fashion Trends. Then we took a look at Harper’s Bazaar‘s piece, The Top 14 Trends from the Fall 2017 Runways. Of course we couldn’t forget Cosmopolitan. They did a piece called 13 Biggest Fashion Trends for Fall 2017. Yes we know, seeing a trend on the runway can look a bit high fashion.. and is sometimes hard to picture on yourself. Problem solved! We took our favorite trends from the runway and turned them into a more everyday, sensible look.

Check Mate

Our Alana Plaid Cardigan is the perfect sensible dupe for this high fashion plaid jacket. We love it paired with our faux suede Beatrice Over the Knee Boots. Black and white plaid and checkered pieces are so on trend this year. We have many classy gingham pieces in right now.

In the Trenches

Trench coats are trending right now! They are a necessity for the winter and fall seasons. The perfect way to stay warm, but still look dressy! If you’re wanting a more edgy trench jacket, our Boston Trench Jacket is exactly what you’re looking for! Wanting a more sophisticated trench coat? Our All About It Coat is very sharp.

Couch Florals

Remember your grandma’s pretty floral couch? This new fall floral fashion trend is quite nostalgic! Our Feodora Floral Top showcases this new trend perfectly! The contrasting fabric hemlines balance out the loud print to keep it classy and chic. Wanting to try out this trend with larger flowers? Try our Fay Floral Dress. This dress features hidden pockets and the fabric is so soft! This evocative pattern is also featured on our Fay Floral Sweater.

Leather Pants

This runway look is hotttt, but a bit high fashion. We toned down this risky look for you. Leather adds the perfect touch of edgy to a classy outfit. We love our Spencer Faux Leather Leggings paired with our Lucky in Lace Top. Ladies, you seriously need some leather in your wardrobe!

Formal Velvet

Velvet is the latest fashion fad for this fall and winter season! We have many velvet pieces in right now. One of our favorites is our Vanity Velvet Dress. You can make this dress edgy with some fishnets and combat boots or classy with a good old pair of little booties. This wine color is excellent for the holiday season!

Victorian Collars

Totally vogue! Victorian collars are charming and distinguished. Our white Venus Crochet Top displays a posh clean look. Where our Beau Lace Top reveals a more frilly and lavish style. If you want to add some subtle high fashion class to your wardrobe, you should absolutely try out a Victorian collared top.

It’s not hard to transform a runway style into an everyday look, but you can’t be afraid to try new trends. Don’t like the way something looks? There’s always an easy way to adjust a look! Try adding a cardigan to soften an edgy look or add your favorite cute shoes to give yourself extra confidence! Fashion is about expressing yourself. It shouldn’t be about pleasing others. If it makes you feel good, then wear it! It’s that easy. “Always have fun with fashion. Dress to entertain yourself.” – Betsey Johnson
